Your products will come from one distributor. You may choose to use more in the future if you wish but the current distributor has thousands of product on hand.  This is the same distributor that I have been using for all my consumer electronic reselling businesses.  Because of my relationship with this company you will be set up on a preferred price class in order to stay competitive with all the products that your will be selling.  Please not that this price class rivals the cost that big box retailers like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, etc get their products for.

What happens after the auction:

             The winner and myself will, either by phone or email, discuss in detail the specific layout of the website and categories to be included.  I will set up 5 categories of your liking and 25 initial products for you to sell.  After this I will coach you how to add an unlimited amount of product and categories to expand and grow your business.

You will need to:

            -establish a business name (I can assist you with this)

            -establish a logo for your business (I can help you with this as well)

-Don’t have to but I highly recommend that you set up a domain name (less then $9 with godaddy.com)

-complete and application with the distributor to set up and activate your account (you will need your SS# or EIN)*if you are a already established business you will be given an option to set up a terms account based on your credit.

            -set up a google checkout account (FREE to set up)

            -set up a paypal account if you don’t already have one

I will set everything up from the back end and implement your user IDs for proper check out, to setting up your logo and website text.  I will show you how to use the control panel to change, modify or add different criteria to the site.  This is probably the easiest control panel on the web.

The reason why this model is ideal for anyone looking to start up e-commerce is because of low cost of maintenance and ease of use.  This is not some E-Book or fully automated website, this actually works.  You can expend your business into an actual retail space, or sell the products on eBay and still get the same preferred discounts on products.

Hosting and ecommerce is provided free through the partner site.  There is no monthly hosting or maintenance fees so the only expense you will incur is advertising your website and your time maintaining the business.

I strongly recommend that you find a niche product category and go from there rather then placing all available products up for sale (the list of products goes into thousands).  You will receive access to a reseller website and login where you can check your product price, find info and status of your account.

You will have a dedicated Account Manager with this distributor (yes a live person) who you will email your PO’s to for fulfillment and other product related questions you might have that I might not be able to assist you with.
